1. What is Additive Learning?
Additive Learning is the training and learning division of Additive 3D. On this portal, learners can get in-depth courses and walkthroughs
covering different aspects of additive manufacturing, and also the landscape of additive manufacturing.
2. What courses do you offer?
We offer courses on Additive manufacturing structure which includes designing tools, basics, intermediate,
and advanced knowledge. We also teach various other software related to additive manufacturing.
3. How do I select a course?
Based on your requirement and interest whichever course is applicable to you can be selected.
For better understanding of the entire process of additive manufacturing we recommend you to enroll in all the courses.
4. What are the prerequisites to take a course on this portal?
As of now there are no prerequisites to take the course.
5. Can I take more than one course at a time?
Yes, you will be given the option of taking multiple courses at once.
6. How do I access the course?
You can access the course by registering and logging in to our portal and by enrolling in any of the courses.
7. How long is my course?
The duration varies depending on the courses you have enrolled in.
8. How many students would be present at a given time in a course?
Batch size depends on the course and the roll out plan.
9. Do you have specific dates for the courses or is it based on enrollment?
Some courses are seasonal and some are based on enrollment. You will see these announcements on the portal.
10. Do I need special gadgets to take my course? Or What do I need to take for my course?
No, you can take up the courses using smartphones, laptops, desktops. If there is any designing course you have enrolled in then licensed software
with laptop or desktop is recommended. (Licensed software will not be provided)
11. Is there an orientation for all learners who have enrolled?
No, there will be no orientation given to anyone enrolled in the course. There is no exclusive orientation for learners. However a brief introduction on the
portal and the experience will be provided in the first session.
12. What should I do if I am unable to attend some sessions?
Drop a mail to the help@additivelearning.com or to any mail id mentioned in the website.
13. Would you provide reading material or any other references?
Yes, we will be providing presentations and necessary documents.
14. Who delivers the courses?
Experienced Industry experts will deliver the lectures.
15. Are all courses paid or do you have any free courses?
Yes, all the courses provided are paid.
16. Do you also provide skill based courses?
Yes, we provide skilled based courses which facilitate you acquire more knowledge and enlighten your career.
17. How can I search for a course?
You will be able to view the course list inside the “Learning with us” page.
18. Where can I find the syllabus for each course?
Syllabus for each course will be accessible on the portal before enrollment.
19. Is there a time limit for the courses that I have enrolled for?
Yes, there is a time limit for the courses that you have enrolled for. This will be mentioned along with the course details.
20. How is the assessment and evaluation process?
Assessment will consist of quizzes, assignments and one final open book exam. However it would be customized for each course.
21. What should I do if I do not get the required score?
There is an option to retake the test till you get the required course.
22. I am not able to access the course content. What could be the reason?
You may check your login access, internet connectivity and your hardware settings. If the problem persists, you can write to help@additivelearning.com
23. Do I have an option to track my recent activities?
Yes, you will have a dashboard to show your activities.
24. How will I know if a particular activity is mandatory in a course?
All the activities mentioned in the course are mandatory to get certification.
25. Can I send a message to the course instructor directly?
No, any issue will be resolved only through help@additivelearning.com
26. On what platform would you conduct the live classes?
Live classes would be conducted on virtual platforms such as Zoom/Google Meet/Microsoft Teams.
27. Will I be able to see other participants who have enrolled for the course?
No,Information of other participants cannot be viewed.
28. What happens if I do not complete my assignment or the course?
Certificates will not be issued for the students failing to complete the courses.
29. Are there any passing marks for the assessment? What is the passing mark?
Yes, 80% of the total marks is the passing marks.

1. How do I register?
Visit the portal and register by filling up the required details and Sign-up.
2. When can I register?
Registration to the courses can be done as per your convenience.

5. Do you provide financial assistance?
No, Any kind Financial assistance is not provided from the organization.
6. Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend the course?
● Course fee is not refundable after the first session.
● 25% of the fee paid and any related taxes will be deducted if withdrawn within 24 hrs of start date in very exceptional cases
7. Can I cancel my enrollment for a course?
Yes, there is an option to cancel the enrollment.
8. I have registered. What are the next steps?
After registration, enroll for the courses of your choice.
9. Can I sign up with Google or Facebook?
No, You need to fill all the required details and register by providing your personal/student email address.
10. I forgot my password, can I reset it and how can I do it?
Yes, Resetting of password is possible. To reset the password click on the forgot password and follow the instructions.
11. How would I know that my account is verified?Will I receive a notification?
You will get a verification link to your email address.
12. Can I see my last login information on my portal?
No,You cannot view your last login details.
13. I am not able to sign in after the registration and verification of my mail-Id. What should I do?
Admin has to verify and approve the details you have provided during the registration till then you will not be signed in or enroll to any courses.
The approval will take 5-7 working days. If this problem continues beyond 7 days then drop a mail to help@additivelearning.com
Technical requirements:
1. Do I need a dedicated internet connection?
There is no need for a dedicated internet connection. However there is a need for good bandwidth for better audio and video wherever required.
2. What are the system requirements to login to your portal?
Computer, Monitor, Mobile Device)not suitable to learn softwares),Microphone, speakers, headset,OS, Email id, Adobe Acrobat,
Plug-ins such as Windows Media Player, Real Player, etc.
3. Can I download the content for offline access?
Yes, the presentations are available for download. But they are not editable.
4. Do I need to install any software to enroll for the courses?
Not all courses need software installation. Information regarding software installation will be provided for those courses where required.
Course completion:
1. I completed my course. What next?
Once you complete the course you will be certified and you can enroll for more courses.
2. How can this course help me in my career?
Additive Learning offers specialized courses which are required in the job market for employment in the 3D printing
/ Additive manufacturing industry. So this will enable the learner to apply for such niche jobs.
3. Who will certify once I complete my course?
Additive 3D and Additive Manufacturing Society of India will jointly certify the courses.
4. Is there a duration validity for the certificate?
No. There is no duration validity for the certificate. However we suggest that constant upskilling is necessary by enrolling for advanced or specialized courses.
5. Can I use this certificate for a professional certification or for a degree program?
No. You cannot use this certificate for a professional certification or for a degree program. However we can offer customized courses to
individual institutions which can facilitate the same. But they are institute specific.
6. Do you have a grievance servicing mechanism?

7. Is there a final exam?
Yes there is a final exam which would assess the learners on their understanding. It is an open book exam.
